Your Launch-built website is ready to go right out-of-the-box, with a template filled out to your exact specifications. However, you might be wondering how to use Elementor to improve your blueprint.
What is Elementor?
Elementor is a website builder that allows users to edit sites through an easy-to-use drag and drop technique. It is the leader in website building platforms today, and is intuitive and responsive.
Why Use Elementor?
Every Launch blueprint comes with Elementor in your back end, or your dashboard. It works for all skill levels. If you can use a mouse, you can use Elementor. It is used to build everything from simple landing pages to entire websites.
Elementor Basic Features
Elementor comes with a whole suite of features, but how many depends on whether you’re using the free or paid version. However, there are some core elements you should be familiar with:
Theme builder: this helps you design each of your site parts, like a header, footer, and body.
Popup builder: guess what this does? Yep, it helps you build popups for your site, while ensuring they stand out but are consistent with the rest of your site.
Widgets: depending on your level of access, you could be able to use over 80 different widgets. Elementor Free comes with about 40, while Elementor Pro comes with an additional 50.
To begin editing your site with Elementor, all you need to do is decide whether to add a new page or edit an existing one. Adding a new page can be done through your client dashboard. Just look for the “Pages” tab on the left column, and click new.
From here, you need to click on the “Edit with Elementor” button at the top of the page. The Elementor application will load, and you’ll be presented with all the modules to the left and what your page will look like to the right.
Begin dragging and dropping the various elements you want to add from the left panel to the right. Want to have a text box at the very top? Drag the “Heading” element to where you want it. How about an image? Use the “image” element.
Editing an existing page operates in much the same way, except there are already elements in the right panel that you can begin to manipulate as you see fit.
While Elementor does come with a slew of features on its own, it also allows for add-ons. For example, the service HappyAddons is one of the most popular add-ons to Elementor today. It comes with over 100 more widgets, 200 premade blocks, particle effects, and more.
Please note that Launch cannot be responsible for any add-ons you chose or the results of using them.
Before you know it, you’ll be effortlessly updating parts of your website on a regular basis, ensuring it remains fresh and relevant. However, there are plenty of advanced Elementor features that we haven’t covered.
These features can be easy to learn but difficult to master. If you desire an update or a refresh, and you’re not as tech savvy as you’d like, it may be time to contact the experts.
